What is an endodontist?
Specialists in Saving Teeth
An endodontist is a dentist who has specialized in diagnosing and treating tooth pain and performing root canal treatment. When presented as an option, root canal treatment is often the only treatment aimed at saving the tooth from an extraction.
After completing four years of dental school, endodontists complete an extra two to three years of advanced training in the specialty. No one is more qualified at saving your natural tooth than an endodontist.
